Titolo | Is cool dialysis an effective and well-tolerated means of reducing the frequency of intradialytic hypotension? |

Contenuto | BACKGROUND Cool dialysis is not commonly used as a means of preventing intradialytic hypotension, perhaps because of concerns about thermal symptoms (such as shivering and feelings of cold) and effects on dialysis dose adequacy. OBJECTIVE To analyze the effect of reducing dialysate temperature on intradialytic hypotension, blood pressure and cold symptoms during dialysis, and on dialysis dose adequacy. |
